Answers to Common Questions
Yes, we partner with both law firms and corporate legal departments. Our programs and services are designed to address the unique innovation challenges facing all legal professionals.
Our programs are created by lawyers and educators who understand the unique challenges of legal practice. We balance cutting-edge innovation methodologies with practical application, creating experiences that respect legal training while expanding its boundaries. Our focus on beautiful, engaging materials and interactive learning sets us apart.
Highly customized. We begin each engagement by understanding your specific goals, culture, and challenges. Every program we deliver—from keynotes to workshops to strategic advisory—is tailored to address your organization's unique needs and objectives.
We maintain active connections with legal innovation communities, technology providers, and academic researchers. Our team regularly participates in industry conferences, contributes to publications, and engages in ongoing education to ensure our methodologies reflect the latest research and best practices in both innovation and legal service delivery.
Our services are tailored specifically to your unique objectives, so our fees vary depending on each project's scope and goals. We begin by thoroughly understanding your vision and requirements, then partner with you to design an approach—and budget—that optimizes your resources and delivers meaningful impact for your teams. For us, budgeting is an open, collaborative dialogue rather than a fixed, one-size-fits-all price tag.
Many clients begin with a keynote presentation or workshop to build awareness and excitement. These initial engagements help establish a common language around innovation and identify potential champions within your organization. From there, we can develop a roadmap for deeper capability building.
For speaking engagements and workshops, we recommend booking 2-3 months in advance. For more comprehensive consulting, we recommend at least a 3-6 month engagement to allow for proper discovery and customization. That said, we understand that innovation needs can arise unexpectedly, and we do our best to accommodate more immediate requests or different consulting timeframes.
We've worked across diverse practice areas within law firms and with legal departments in industries ranging from technology and healthcare to management consulting and executive search. We’ve worked with some of the largest global firms, mid-sized regional firms, and small boutique firms. The innovation methodologies we teach are applicable across all legal contexts, and we tailor examples and exercises to your specific department, firm, or practice group.
While the core methodologies remain consistent, we tailor the focus and format based on participant roles. Associate programs typically emphasize skill building and application, while partner and leadership programs focus more on strategic direction, governance, and creating conditions for innovation to flourish throughout the organization.
